The Lotteries Act
1964
provides
for a wide range of lottery-type activities such as trade promotion lotteries, raffles,
silver circles and Housie. Generally, a permit is required to conduct the these
lottery activities. Application fees are applicable and are calculated on the total
prize value of the lottery that ACT residents are eligible to win.

Applications are placed in a queue as received and are not processed in order of urgency. A period of 7 working days must be allowed for processing once your application and ALL the relevant data is received.
Payment must accompany your application. Payment may be made by cash, cheque or money order.
