The Commission first signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Access Canberra, as part of the Chief Minister, Treasury and Economic Development Directorate, in 2016. The MOU outlines the services Access Canberra provides the Commission. The MOU was renegotiated in 2025-26, with Access Canberra, now a stream within the City and Environment Directorate (CED).
