Strategy For Gambling Harm Prevention

Release of Draft Strategy for consultation

The Commission is pleased to release a draft of its new gambling harm prevention strategy A Public Health Approach to Gambling Regulation in the ACT: 2027-2032 Harm Prevention Strategy (Draft Strategy) [PDF 4.3 MB] for consultation.

The Draft Strategy recommits to incorporating a public health approach into the Commission’s functions, recognising that preventing and reducing gambling-related harm requires coordinated action and everyone has a role to play.

The Draft Strategy builds upon the implementation and independent evaluation [PDF 1016.7 KB] of the Commission’s 2019 Strategy for Gambling Harm Prevention in the ACT: A Public Health Approach [PDF 448.8 KB].
