The Gambling and Racing Commission has set the following key focus areas in the Statement of Expectations 2025-26 (PDF 239KB):
- Administer and regulate gaming laws soundly, incorporating continuous improvement and responsiveness to current and emerging challenges.
- Take a leading role in reducing gambling related consumer harm in the ACT.
- Review MOU arrangements with relevant service delivery Directorate to support the Commission in achieving its Objectives.
- Communicate with external (non-government) stakeholders and community transparently.
