Gambling Harm Prevention and Mitigation Grants Program

The Commission administers the Grants Program through the Gambling Harm Prevention and Mitigation Fund.

The program aims to:

  • reduce harm caused by gambling
  • support healthy communities and environments.

We encourage involvement from:

  • industry
  • research organisations
  • the community
  • individuals.

Grant streams

The Grants Program has two application streams.

Annual Grants

The Annual Grants program will open on 1 July this year.

In 2026, organisations can apply for up to $300,000 to deliver projects that prevent and reduce gambling harm in the ACT.

Community Grants

Local organisations and individuals can apply for up to $10,000 for small projects that help prevent and reduce gambling harm in the ACT.

Applications are open year round.
